We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced Part-Time HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the HR Generalist will serve as a key connector between employees, managers, and our PEO partner (Insperity), ensuring questions are resolved promptly and processes run smoothly. You will maintain HR data accuracy, facilitate onboarding, offboarding, timely communication, and help reinforce a positive company culture.

The HR Generalist will also be responsible for monitoring compliance requirements and proactively identifying areas where processes can be clarified or improved. Because this is a part-time role, the ability to prioritize tasks, anticipate needs, and independently manage workflow is essential. The HR Generalist must be able to set and maintain a consistent part-time schedule, working approximately 8-12 hours per week.

• Onboarding: input new hires into HR systems, initiate background checks, ensure onboarding tasks and trainings are completed on time, and conduct introductory benefits overview sessions
• Offboarding: manage HR system updates, compile documentation, conduct exit interviews, and verify and apply state-specific termination payout rules
• Process title changes and promotions in HR systems
• Process payroll in coordination with internal stakeholders and the PEO
• Address employee benefit inquiries and direct employees to our PEO partner as appropriate
• Manage the annual performance review cycle, including communication, tracking, and ensuring timely completion
• Support recruiting efforts through the applicant tracking system, including posting roles and coordinating candidate communication

• 2–4 years of HR experience (generalist or coordinator level preferred)
• Familiarity with HR systems and the ability to quickly learn new software
• Experience working with PEOs (Insperity experience a plus)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation: $50 - $60 per hour
