As an HR Generalist, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of HR functions while supporting the daily operations that keep our business running smoothly. In this role, you’ll take on diverse administrative and operational responsibilities and play an active part in shaping a positive employee experience.

You’ll partner closely with HR Managers and business leaders to support key areas such as recruiting, onboarding, performance management, policy and program administration, employment law compliance, change management, and reporting. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives while learning and growing within a dynamic, evolving organization.

Duties
  • Understand site workforce plans and conduct recruitment efforts for exempt, non‑exempt, and temporary roles, with a focus on operations staffing.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to market and recruit talent, including posting jobs, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, managing temp‑to‑hire conversions, and supporting pre‑boarding.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating new hire processes, conducting orientation, and delivering an exceptional first‑day experience.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to onboarding, orientation, terminations, and exit interviews, including entering and auditing data in HRIS systems for accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer HR programs and procedures and assist with interpreting, developing, and implementing employee policies and procedures for employees and leaders.
  • Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on HR programs and policies and support HR Managers with employee relations matters as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Process employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Participate in developing departmental goals and objectives.
  • Support performance management activities and related processes.
  • Prepare reports and build metrics and analytics to support HR decision‑making.
  • Utilize the HRIS system to maintain accurate employee data while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, provide excellent customer service, and manage professional interactions effectively.
  • Stay current on HR trends and best practices by attending seminars, reading industry materials, and participating in webinars.
  • Perform other HR‑related duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong drive for results, sound decision‑making skills, the ability to work independently within a supportive HR team, resourcefulness, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Dayforce HRIS is a plus.
