About the Role

Thinking Ahead is selectively expanding its leadership bench and seeking Associate Partners who are senior search professionals with established client relationships who are ready to grow their practice within a highly respected, values‑driven firm.

This is a remote, entrepreneurial role designed for individuals who already operate with a partner mindset and are looking for a long‑term platform that supports both performance and purpose.

As an Associate Partner, you will:

• Manage and grow a portable book of business
  , with a demonstrated annual value over time
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, owning senior‑level search engagements end‑to‑end
• Build and expand long‑term client partnerships aligned with Thinking Ahead’s mission and values
• Lead full life‑cycle executive search engagements, from intake through placement
• Mentor and collaborate with recruiters and researchers as needed
• Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of the Thinking Ahead brand

We’re looking for professionals who bring:

• Proven success in executive search, staffing, or consultative B2B sales
• An established, portable book of business (consistently billing annually over 2+ years)
• Comfort operating in a performance‑based, draw + commission + bonus environment
• Strong client presence, communication, and relationship‑management skills
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, matrixed firm
• A long‑term mindset and interest in growing within a 40‑year‑old organization

Experience managing complex B2B relationships and a bachelor’s degree are preferred
