This in-person Human Resources Assistant role provides administrative and coordination support across multiple HR functions, including recruiting support, employee relations workflows, benefits administration, and compliance documentation. Based in Boise, , the position is designed to strengthen day-to-day HR operations while contributing to a positive workplace experience.
Work Location and Pay- Location: Boise, (onsite)
- Compensation: USD 24 to 26 per hour
- Support talent acquisition by sourcing candidates through HR systems, assisting with interview scheduling, and managing candidate communication.
- Assist with employee orientation activities to help ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated effectively.
- Contribute to evaluation and performance management by collecting relevant data, preparing reports, and coordinating review sessions.
- Manage benefits administration tasks, including enrollment and benefit changes, and respond to employee inquiries related to health plans, retirement options, and other benefits.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Support compliance management activities such as affirmative action planning, adherence to OSHA regulations, and maintaining employment law documentation.
- Assist with HR initiatives related to workforce management
, organizational design
, succession planning
, and training & development programs.
- Proven experience in an HR department or a human resources support role.
- Strong working knowledge of employment and labor law
, including FMLA regulations,
workers’ compensation procedures, and HR legal compliance standards. - Microsoft Office proficiency, with an emphasis on Excel for data analysis; HRIS experience is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive information professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated project management capability, including task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adapt to change management initiatives while supporting organizational development efforts.
- Experience with payroll processing tools such as Paylocity is advantageous, but not required.
