We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP BTP Consultant to design, develop, and support SAP applications leveraging ABAP on SAP BTP, S/4
HANA, and modern SAP extensibility concepts. The role involves building cloud-ready ABAP solutions, integrating SAP and non-SAP systems, and enabling clean-core compliant extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Over 10 years of SAP programming experience
- Design, develop, and enhance ABAP applications on SAP BTP (ABAP Environment / Steampunk)
- Develop S/4
HANA extensions following clean core principles - Build and maintain RAP-based services, CDS views, and OData services
- Work on side-by-side and in-app extensions using BTP
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, and events
- Optimize and refactor legacy ABAP code for S/4
HANA compatibility - Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of cloud-based solutions
- Support testing, deployment, and production issues
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP (OO ABAP mandatory)
- Experience with SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk)
- Solid knowledge of S/4
HANA architecture and extensibility - Hands-on experience with:
- CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption)
- RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
- OData Services
- Understanding of Clean Core principles
- Experience with SAP BTP services (Destinations, Connectivity, Security)
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite / CP
