Our client, a government organization dedicated to supporting the judicial system, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Support Technician to join their team. As a Field Support Technician, you will be an essential part of the IT support team, ensuring seamless hardware deployment, data migration, and user support for court staff and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Field Support Technician

Location: Boise, Idaho

What's the Job?
  • Perform hardware deployments, including new devices and peripheral equipment, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
  • Support data migration efforts for emails and documents to the central M365 tenant, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop/laptop hardware, printers, and mobile devices in accordance with IT procedures.
  • Coordinate equipment shipments, inventory management, and surplus processing to support operational efficiency.
  • Provide responsive end‑user support, addressing technical issues and escalating complex problems as needed.
What's Needed?
  • At least three years of IT support experience, with a focus on hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience onboarding users to Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, One Drive, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of migrating emails and documents to M365 Outlook and One Drive.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows 10 and 11, as well as Microsoft Office 2016 applications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while prioritizing customer needs.
