Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC offers a role that supports manufacturing processes and production operations in a Fab environment. The focus is on automation, analytics, and manufacturing systems such as MES, AMHS and scheduling platforms, without independent laboratory research.

• Support manufacturing operations through automation, analytics, and manufacturing systems (MES, AMHS, scheduling and automation platforms) within a Fab environment.
• Complete safety training, conduct audits, and submit good catches on safety issues in accordance with Micron and TD safety policies.
• Partner with management to provide data analysis, create advanced production web‑reports, and develop applications to improve production metrics.
• Create and deliver effective presentations and lead interdepartmental meetings for a range of issue complexities.
• Mentor team members and articulate complex ideas to a broad audience.
• Establish trusting relationships across local and global partner groups, and participate in or lead global alignment meetings.
• Drive improvement solutions that meet customer needs and develop a thorough understanding of cross‑functional process impacts.
• Partner with Operations and ODE teams, support 24/7 OI systems when on call, and share global OI best‑known methods.
• Design and coordinate projects with multiple departments, identify, innovate, and lead improvement efforts related to cycle‑time reduction and continuous improvement.
• Identify project requirements, plan tasks, and adhere to delivery dates.
• Analyze AMHS layout, congestion, and slow delivery times; provide metrics and reporting to improve AMHS efficiency and delivery.
• Optimize tool‑to‑tool delivery times and deliver pre/post metrics for OI enhancements or changes.
• Follow the OI testing cycle (DEV/BETA/PROD) for new software releases to ensure quality implementation.
• Apply industrial engineering concepts to line management, scheduling, and production planning.
• Use analytical tools and data to drive decisions and identify optimization opportunities for the fab, implementing innovative solutions.
• Automate Fab processes to reduce variability and eliminate waste.
• Develop, maintain, and improve scheduling and business rules.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support on a one‑week‑every‑8‑weeks rotation.

Employer will consider a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related field.
