Our client, a government organization supporting judicial operations, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Support Technician to join their team. As a Field Support Technician, you will be an essential part of the IT support team, ensuring seamless hardware deployment, data migration, and user support for the Idaho Supreme Court. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to excellent service, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Field Support Technician
Location: Boise, Idaho
What's the Job?- Perform hardware deployments, including new devices and peripheral equipment.
- Support data migration efforts for emails and documents to the central M365 tenant.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware and software.
- Coordinate equipment shipments, inventory, and surplus processing in accordance with court procedures.
- Provide responsive end-user support and elevate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- At least three years of IT support experience.
- Experience onboarding users to Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint, One Drive, and Outlook.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic network configurations, including wired and wireless connections.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach to support.
