Job Description & How to Apply Below

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.

In this role, your main focus will be on Microsoft 365 Administration serving as a technical subject‑matter expert across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD). Working with limited supervision, this role designs and delivers scalable solutions, automates administration, safeguards enterprise data, and partners with security, infrastructure, and business teams to keep Micron’s workforce productive and secure.

This role is also central to Micron’s adoption of AI‑powered productivity — leading the secure deployment and governance of Microsoft 365 Copilot and evaluating complementary enterprise AI assistants such as Anthropic’s Claude — so that team members can realize the value of generative AI within strong data‑protection and responsible‑AI guardrails.

Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the enterprise Microsoft 365 tenant, including Copilot, Copilot Cowork, Power Platform, MS Exchange Online, Exchange On Prem, SharePoint Online, One Drive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Viva.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, licenses, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and role‑based access across the tenant.
  • Coordinate Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD) identity services — single sign‑on, multi‑factor authentication, Conditional Access, and group‑based provisioning.
  • Configure and manage endpoints and applications through Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
  • Monitor service health, capacity, and performance across the M365 ecosystem; proactively determine and resolve issues before they impact users.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years in enterprise engineering supporting M365, identity, security, endpoint management, collaboration services, and related platforms.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 tenant administration and how AI capabilities align with identity, data access, security compliance, and endpoint requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing security‑first architectures (least privilege, Zero Trust, auditing, and governance) in large enterprise environments.
  • Solid ability to fix issues and lead incident resolution, including root cause analysis, resolving blockers, and driving lasting corrective actions.
  • Excellent communicator skilled at breaking down complex technical problems and collaborating across engineering, support, security, legal, business teams, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise platform engineering or operations.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Copilot enablement, and Microsoft Security Technologies.
  • Experience deploying enterprise capabilities using phased rollouts, persona‑based deployment, and coordinated training/communications plans.
  • Experience with Copilot Studio and/or Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI) in enterprise use cases.
