Canon USA, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer II to join our burgeoning technical team within the electronics division. This role is instrumental in providing exemplary technical support and maintenance services for Canon's innovative digital imaging products. The successful candidate will be adept at implementing solutions, enhancing product functionality, and fostering customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Canon digital imaging products.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely.
- Provide training and support to clients on new and existing Canon equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Offer feedback on product performance issues to the engineering teams for future product enhancements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in electronic systems troubleshooting and repair
- Strong familiarity with digital imaging technology
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in use of diagnostic tools and software
