Identity & Access Engineer; Azure​/AWS

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Engineer to implement, and support identity, authentication, authorization, and privileged access solutions across Azure and AWS environments for one of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD), AWS IAM, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and identity governance.

This role will partner closely with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant access management solutions across enterprise systems.

Note, this is a 6 months contract extendable.

• Administer Microsoft Entra  AWS IAM environments.
• Manage user lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
• Implement least‑privilege access models across cloud platforms.
• Maintain RBAC models and access policies.

• Deploy and support MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Configure and support SSO integrations using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM.
• Manage service principals, managed identities, federation, and enterprise applications.
• Implement and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Secure Azure subscriptions and AWS accounts through identity controls.
• Implement identity governance and compliance requirements.
• Conduct periodic access certifications and entitlement reviews.
• Support audits and regulatory requirements.

• Automate provisioning and access workflows.
• Create reporting and monitoring solutions for IAM activities.

• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and federation issues.
• Investigate access‑related incidents and security findings.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams during deployments and integrations.

• 4+ years of IAM experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra .
• Strong experience with AWS IAM.
• Experience with:
• Conditional Access
• MFA
• RBAC
• PIM
• SSO
• OAuth2
• SAML
• OpenID Connect
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Hybrid Identity.
• Experience with Power Shell and/or Python.
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture.

• Microsoft Certified:
  Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
• Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)
• AWS Security Specialty
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
• CISSP (preferred)

Salary: this role pays between $50 - $60 dollars per hour.
