Location: Boise, Idaho
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days on-site/2 remote after a 60-day training period
Salary: $55,000-$80,000 DOE

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a law firm in Boise that is seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys in their real estate, construction, and litigation practice groups. This role involves preparing and filing legal documents, assisting with real estate transactional materials, managing billing and timekeeping tasks, maintaining client files, coordinating schedules and deadlines, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment supporting multiple attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, revise, and finalize pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
- File pleadings and legal documents with courts and coordinate service when needed
- Assist with commercial and real estate transactional documents and recording with county offices
- Draft and edit correspondence and legal documents from attorney notes or transcription
- Proofread, format, redact, and compare documents using document comparison tools
- Enter and review attorney time entries and assist with prebills and client invoices
- Process expense reports and assist with resolving billing questions
- Maintain attorney calendars and monitor deadlines
- Communicate with clients and outside counsel regarding documents, scheduling, and signatures
- Maintain electronic and physical client files and assist with opening new matters and conflicts checks
- Scan, organize, and transmit documents through document management and secure file-sharing systems
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and conference room scheduling
- Track CLE credits and assist with compliance reporting
- Provide coverage and collaborate with other practice assistants as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience required
- Experience supporting real estate or construction-related matters is a plus
- Experience with state or federal court procedures and electronic court filing required
- Strong organizational, proofreading, and document formatting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Typing speed of 60+ WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with legal software such as document management systems, billing platforms, and Adobe Acrobat preferred
