Primary PurposeThe Lead Equipment Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities for the warehouse and yard at the branch. This position provides guidance and direction to Equipment Specialist staff at the location, focusing on team building and customer service.
Essential Functions- Check, repair, paint and store toilets, sheds, and other equipment as needed
- Build new units as instructed
- Maintain inventory log and submit to Operations Manager as instructed
- Report a weekly list of parts/supplies that need to be ordered to the Operations Manager
- Conduct random quality control audits on portable restrooms, sinks, holding tanks, etc. to assess the quality of services and repairs being done at the branch pre and post deployment
- Ensure general maintenance and organization of area kept up
- Use a forklift for loading and unloading units
- Assist with training of new Equipment Specialist or re‑training of current ones
- Mix and/or store chemicals as per instructions for each chemical
- Check the water‑recycling system daily (if applicable)
- Pick up “pre‑load sheets” from Operations Coordinator for the following day
- Check work area and working conditions of the warehouse and yard, providing suggestions for improvement
- Assist with Safety tailgate meetings as needed

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of all company assets in inventory
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and repair of those assets
- Ability to multi‑task and work independently while being safety conscious
- Ability to give others direction
- Valid Driver License (Class CDL A, B, or
C)
- Sit while operating equipment (such as a forklift) and stand while servicing products
- Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
- Repeat the same movements
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and also at greater distance
- Speak clearly so customers can understand
- Understand the speech of another person
- Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them
- Be able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion
- Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling
- Lift up to 40 lbs from your waist to your shoulders
- Lift 30 lbs from the floor to your head
- Crouch and squat
- Push 150 lbs and pull 150 lbs horizontally

$17.64 – $23.81 / hour
Pay Transparency StatementAt United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for this position. Individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job‑related skills, experience, education and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
