Key Responsibilities:
- Procure Wheat, Maize, Rice, and other agri-commodities from mandis, traders, aggregators, and farmers.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing.
- Conduct market intelligence on commodity prices, arrivals, and crop trends.
- Negotiate commercial terms and execute procurement contracts.
- Coordinate with quality, logistics, and operations teams for smooth procurement and dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and documentation requirements.
- Monitor procurement targets, inventory requirements, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agri-commodity procurement.
- Strong understanding of Wheat, Maize, Rice, mandi operations, and agricultural value chains.
- Experience working with traders, commission agents, FPOs, or farmer networks.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across procurement markets.
