About The Role
Compensation: $20 - $22/hr + Quarterly bonus potential + Commissions for renewals, vacancy loss goals, and reputation score
Sign‑on Bonus: $1,000
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am‑5:00pm + On‑call
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the property. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance and repair work, as well as excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa maintenance.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely and high‑quality completion of all work orders.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety and health codes.
  • Maintain the property’s curb appeal by ensuring grounds, building exteriors, and common areas are clean, functional, and well‑presented.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and completion status.
  • Assist with vendor management, ensuring work is approved, scheduled, and completed according to company standards.
  • Participate in the after‑hours emergency on‑call rotation and assist with snow and ice removal as required.
  • Provide and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, tape measure, utility knife, hammer, and cordless drill). Roundhouse will supply power tools and larger equipment as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety labels on equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks and meet property maintenance goals.
  • Regularly monitor maintenance software to review assigned tasks, update progress, and ensure timely and accurate completion of all work orders.
  • Comply with OSHA standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work.
Requirements Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year’s experience in general maintenance and repair work.
  • Understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
