Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Provide strategic leadership to all Boise operations, setting clear expectations and cultivating a high-performance culture.
- Mentor and develop team members at all levels; promote continuous learning and growth.
- Foster collaboration and alignment with leadership teams in Salt Lake City to ensure consistent company culture across locations.
- Serve as the primary cultural ambassador for the Boise team (~30 people), building morale, teamwork, and accountability.
- Oversee all project and field operations within Glass & Glazing, Doors & Hardware, and Specialties.
- Ensure accurate planning, scheduling, and execution of work to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, staffing levels, and resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to drive performance.
- Drive revenue growth through disciplined bidding, accurate estimating, and solid pipeline management.
- Strengthen relationships with contractors, architects, vendors, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with the estimating and sales teams to win profitable work and expand market presence.
- Act as the primary liaison for major clients in the Boise region.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication, quality work, and professional service.
- Resolve escalations and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships.
- Champion a strong safety culture across all Boise operations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required
- 5-10+ years of leadership experience in the construction industry, preferably within:
- Glass & Glazing
- Doors & Hardware
- Specialties (Div 9, 10, 12)
- Proven track record of managing teams and leading multi-discipline projects.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
- Experience in growing teams, mentoring staff, and developing positive workplace culture.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-relationship skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with headquarters and regional teams.
- Experience managing a standalone branch or satellite office.
- Background in P&L responsibility and strategic operational planning.
- Strong network within the Boise construction community.
- Ability to guide teams through change, growth, and process improvement.
