About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Procurement Lead to join our dynamic team  this essential position, you will oversee a dedicated group responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and efficiently managing service providers to deliver outsourced services. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to formulate and execute effective sourcing and procurement strategies tailored to meet organizational goals.

Your role will be pivotal within a robust Procurement function, focused on identifying, sourcing, and acquiring goods, services, and materials from reputable vendors, thereby supporting our global operations across various sectors, including industrial solutions and consumer products.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide formal supervision, including training and development of team members. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Coordinate daily activities of the team, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff while collaborating with stakeholders to execute strategic plans.
  • Establish and monitor deadlines for staff and the department, while mentoring and coaching as necessary.
  • Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and maintenance of contracts to support the procurement of goods and services.
  • Manage the processes related to contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals, while keeping relevant parties informed of changes and outcomes.
  • Oversee the supplier and contractor certification process. Conduct regular visits to supplier locations to evaluate performance.
  • Educate and mentor team members on modern sourcing practices and their benefits.
  • Analyze procurement expenditures, supplier performance, and operational efficiencies to identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
  • Assist in creating requests for proposals, selecting appropriate solutions, and negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Demonstrate leadership by modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE values and influencing collaborative agreements.
  • Apply your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues related to procurement processes.
What You'll Need:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, significant experience may substitute for formal education. Certifications like C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. are preferred.
  • Experience in managing staffing, selection, training, coaching, and employee performance evaluation is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to manage sensitive information and performance expectations effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities to motivate teams towards high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced mathematical skills for financial calculations and analysis.

Compensation:

The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 annually, with a maximum of $115,000 annually. The compensation package may also include an eligible discretionary bonus based on CBRE's benefit program.
