Job Requirements- 5+ years of management/supervisory experience in the tile, slab, or a similar industry is highly preferred.
- Ability to motivate staff and provide exceptional leadership.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills.
- Superb verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Windows.
- Accounting and inventory skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high concern for data accuracy.
- Time‑management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays.
- Provides guidance and expertise in the daily operations of the branch with a commitment to Arizona Tile’s safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures that customers receive the best overall buying experience, whether interacting directly or through staff.
- Analyzes situations, identifies problems, and evaluates courses of action.
- Oversees retail and wholesale sales activities to achieve or exceed key performance indicators, client satisfaction, and business relationships.
- Provides effective leadership, mentoring and supervision to maximize sales/service performance and promote teamwork.
- Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient functioning of the branch.
- Conducts hiring, coaching, timesheet approval, attendance/overtime management, career development, progressive discipline, and performance evaluations.
- Ensures proper opening/closing of the branch, security, physical control, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and timely accounting and management reports.
