What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Lead to expand our presence across the Rocky Mountain region, with a focus on the Boise market. This role is ideal for a connector and problem-solver with deep roots in the AEC industry and a passion for developing clients, guiding teams, and leading firmwide BD strategy.
- Lead business development initiatives across Idaho and the greater Rocky Mountain region
- Focus on identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities in the Boise market and beyond
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, municipalities, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Collaborate with technical leaders to position the firm and respond to RFQs/RFPs
- Coach and mentor internal team members on client engagement and pursuit strategy
- Refine and implement BD processes, CRM use, and marketing coordination across offices
- Represent the firm at conferences, networking events, and client meetings
Requirements:
- Typically, 7+ years of business development, marketing, or client management experience in the AEC industry
- A background in engineering or architecture consulting, ideally in a PM role or higher
- Deep knowledge of the Boise market and, ideally, strong industry relationships across the Rocky Mountain Region
- Proven success in developing and closing AEC projects (public and private sector)
- Experience mentoring technical staff and leading BD processes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Although open-minded on the compensation package, our targeted base salary is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in Boise and Denver metro areas.
