The Division of Management Services’ Bureau of Compliance is excited to invite applications for an experienced Grants/Contracts Management Supervisor to lead our Contracts and Procurement Services (CAPS) team in our Boise office.
We are looking for a collaborative, forward-thinking leader who excels at guiding teams, removing obstacles, and aligning operations with broader organizational goals. This role provides meaningful opportunities to shape funding strategies, strengthen compliance, and directly support services that impact Idaho’s citizens.
In this high visibility role, you will:- Provide leadership and oversight to the CAPS unit.
- Guide staff through the full lifecycle of grant and contract development, including: planning, funding, administration, evaluation, service delivery.
- Promote compliance and strategic alignment across the department through curated training and monthly alignment sessions.
- Serve as a key contributor to bureau and division leadership teams.
- Collaborate with department leadership, division partners, and external agencies.
- Elevate CAPS team status as a trusted partner in DHW through customer centricity.
- Identify and implement opportunities that improve operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives involving: funding priorities, metrics and reporting, process improvement.
- Experienced in state procurement principles, practices, and legal requirements.
- Skilled in competitive bidding procedures.
- Well-versed in compliance standards and requirements.
- Enthusiastic about education and sharing knowledge
- A confident leader with:
Strong initiative, Sound judgment, Strategic thinking, technical expertise, Curiosity, experience supervising and developing staff - Adept at problem-solving, conflict resolution, and navigating complex assignments.
- Customer-service oriented.
