Boise,  | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | $18.00/hr
Schedule: 6:00am – 3:00pm must be available for overtime and weekends

We’re hiring an Entry-Level Retread Tire Technician for a well-established tire shop in Southwest Boise, . This is a great fit for individuals with physically demanding work experience who are ready to learn a skilled trade and grow in the automotive industry.

• Inspect tires and casings to determine if they are suitable for retreading
• Learn to identify visible damage such as cuts, bulges, wear, and other defects
• Assist with preparing tires for retreading by removing damaged rubber and materials
• Perform visual inspections using proper tools and lighting techniques
• Follow step-by-step work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Work closely with experienced technicians and supervisors
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime: Regular overtime available
• Pay: $18.00 per hour

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Ability to work on your feet and use your hands throughout the shift
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to lift heavy tires (up to 180 lbs with assistance or equipment)
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• No prior tire or retread experience required

• Standing for extended periods
• Prior experience in a physically demanding job required
• Frequent use of hands and arms
• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy tires
• Close vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
