Overview
As a Sr Area Manufacturing Engineer – Probe Quality, you will be at the forefront of ensuring safe, stable, and consistent operations within our probe quality management manufacturing areas. This role offers an outstanding chance to collaborate with various teams to lead as a QMS coordinator, integrate quality principles, and continuously refine manufacturing processes into our daily operations and production ramps.
Responsibilities- Own and maintain QMS execution for probe, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Drive effective use of organizational transition processes, document control, and standard work.
- Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities for systemic manufacturing issues.
- Partner with Quality teams to prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring probe manufacturing processes are stable, capable, and operating within defined controls.
- Evaluate manufacturing changes for quality and execution risk, leading risk evaluations involving multiple functions such as FMEA for new processes, tools, or product introductions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality and manufacturing data.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or related.
- 3–5 years experience working with quality control frameworks in manufacturing settings leading standardized ISO and IETF audits.
- Working knowledge of process control, standard work, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence teams spanning multiple functions without direct authority.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably probe or test, and open to aerospace or automotive industries with QMS experience.
- Hands‑on experience supporting QMS audits (internal or external).
- 3–5 years experience with CAPA, change control, and document management systems, including supporting technology transitions or production ramps with quality ownership.
- 3–5 years experience with quality tools like FMEA, SPC, and control plans.
