Recondition Technician – Day Shift

Location: Boise,

Schedule: Day Monday to Friday – Start times at 5:30 AM or 7:30 AM (8 hour shifts)

Pay: Starting at $17.00/ hour (DOE)

Atlas Staffing is hiring a Recondition Technician to support a leading manufacturing operation serving the semiconductor industry. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals with a background in automotive mechanics or similar hands‑on experience who are eager to learn and grow in a team‑oriented environment.

The Recondition Technician will support the Refurbishment Department by assisting with the cleaning, preparation, and reassembly of electro‑mechanical subassemblies and plays a key part in ensuring high‑quality standards are met.

• Clean and decontaminate subassemblies in preparation for reassembly.
• Assist technicians with rebuilding and reassembling parts.
• Package completed components for shipment.
• Utilize common hand tools such as sanders, drills, and other shop equipment.
• Enter labor and parts data into the Epicor system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, circuit board repair, and soldering.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Commitment to maintaining a strong work ethic and reliability.

• Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds independently.
• Must comply with safety attire requirements, including safety glasses, steel or composite toe shoes, and hearing protection as required.
