Plastic Fabrication Technician

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20-$25 DOE, Hourly

Location: Boise,

Position Type: Full‑Time

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of plastic components and systems under supervision.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials using a tape measure and basic tools.
• Perform conversions between fractions and decimals accurately.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools in accordance with company standards.
• Support fabrication processes while maintaining quality and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of fractions and decimals, with the ability to convert between them.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools, including safe operation practices.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Previous experience in cabinetry, furniture building, carpentry, or finish work.
• Flat plastic sheet welding fabricator experience.

Physical Effort/

Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8–10 hours at a time, bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights on a ladder, and lift up to 50–75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
