Production Worker

This role focuses on operating and supporting CNC production processes by loading and unloading metal components, inspecting parts, and removing imperfections using hand and power tools. You will work on your feet for the full shift in a repetitive, process-driven environment, ensuring machines run smoothly and finished products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Load knives and other metal objects into CNC machines according to established procedures.
  • Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure they run properly and safely.
  • Unload finished or partially finished parts from machines and stage them for further processing.
  • Inspect parts visually and with basic tools to identify impurities, defects, or irregularities.
  • Use various hand tools and power tools to grind down impurities and deburr metal components.
  • Maintain a consistent workflow by keeping the machine supplied with raw materials.
  • Package finished products in accordance with quality and safety guidelines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with machines, materials, or product quality.
Essential Skills
  • Experience or strong interest in production or manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for the entire shift.
  • Hands-on experience or comfort using hand tools for grinding, deburring, and basic finishing work.
  • Ability to use basic power tools safely to remove impurities from metal parts.
  • Attention to detail for inspecting parts and identifying defects or impurities.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks in a monotonous, process-focused role.
  • Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
  • Entry-level candidates welcome, with the ability and willingness to learn on the job.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in production, machining, or metalworking environments is an asset.
  • Experience with deburring or grinding metal components is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with CNC machines or machine shop operations is a plus.

Work Environment

The role requires being on your feet for the entire shift, performing repetitive loading, unloading, grinding, and packaging tasks. You will regularly use various hand tools and power tools to grind and deburr metal parts in a production environment that emphasizes safety, routine, and steady workflow.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
