Adecco is currently seeking a Packaging Technician to join a local manufacturer specializing in custom plastic‑fabricated equipment. This is a full‑time, hands‑on role in a clean manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn additional functions across quality and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Read and follow customer‑specific packaging requirements
- Clean, bag, label, and package finished products
- Wrap and protect parts using materials such as bubble wrap
- Assemble boxes and crates for shipment
- Create and apply shipping/product labels
- Enter shipment data into computer system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support additional departments as needed, including quality and shipping/receiving
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing plastic parts
- Experience working in a clean or controlled environment is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime
- Starting Pay: $18.00 – $21.00/hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. + Occasional OT
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
