Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions and offers a Registered Apprenticeship Program that pays for your education while you gain hands‑on experience in semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with production, engineering, and technician teams to support daily fab operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and support operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment or process‑related issues and support resolution efforts.
  • Accurately document work performed and communicate updates clearly.
  • Complete required safety training and follow all safety protocols.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across the fab.
  • Adhere to all apprenticeship program guidelines and expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Willingness and ability to enroll in the College of Western Idaho as part of the apprenticeship program to pursue and complete one of the following Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees: STEM‑focused Manufacturing Technology Associate degree, Advanced Mechatronics Technology (AMET).
  • Basic to intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom).
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Reliable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work and rotate shifts as needed (including nights), with support for class schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Equipment path interest: mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment, tools, or repairs.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems or AC/DC circuits.
