Overnight Baker at Guru Donuts-Boise

This position is scheduled from 12am-8am

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our kitchen crew! Our team consists of individuals who are detail oriented, enjoy working in collaboration, and are passionate about creating great donuts. In this role, you will be trained on all aspects of the kitchen, including baking, frying & the glazing processes of donut creation. Your day-to-day will consist of handling donuts from start to finish, ensuring that each donut is presented to our customers with the highest quality.

• Collaborate with baker to manage the proofing of raised donuts to ensure size consistency throughout production process
• Fry, glaze, and add final touches to all donuts and any other baked goods
• Follow recipes, weigh ingredients, and oversee several tasks at one time
• Work alongside team members to maintain quality control of all finished products
• Maintain equipment (oil, grease, etc.) according to directions & established maintenance schedules
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards, leading others by example to perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks

• Must be able to perform general physical activities with speed and efficiency that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials and objects

• Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
• Must be able to think on your feet, be proactive, and solve problems as they come along
