Manufacturing Technician Level 1 - Retread Operations

Reports to: Store Manager (or similar position)

Job Type: Full time

POSITION OVERVIEW

You’ll work hands‑on in our retread manufacturing operation — operating machinery, maintaining your workspace, and producing high‑quality retreaded tires that keep commercial fleets on the road. No prior tire experience required; we train you on the equipment and processes from day one. As you build skills, you advance through a structured Level 1 → 2 → 3 pay ladder with clear criteria at each step.

JOB

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate assigned machines — buffer, builder, extruder, chambers, skiver, and/or final inspector
  • Assist with retread manufacturing and maintain production quality to Commercial Tire specifications
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
  • Follow Commercial Tire safety guidelines and contribute to a team‑first culture of continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS – preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable reading technical or operational manuals
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and ready to learn — we invest in people who show up and put in the effort
