Assembly Technician

Western Trailers is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician. Must possess the desire and ability to assemble flat beds & panel trailers, to include but not limited to: basic electrical, basic plumbing, basic flooring, etc.

Physical exertion required. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, push, twist, kneel, bend, and move about the facility. Regularly required to lift and move equipment and components weighing up to 50 + lbs.

• Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow technical instructions
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Experience in the use of a variety of hand tools
• Knowledge of basic measuring tools, e.g., tape measure, and have basic math skills.
• Desirable general mechanical / manufacturing experience
• Must meet attendance, be punctual & dependable
• Able to lift up to 50 + lbs.
• Working well as a team member, or independently
• Able to read & speak English
• Be able to stand on feet for most of the day
• Dependable transportation
• Previous experience a plus

• HS Diploma or GED equivalency
