Enviro Tech has been machining precision parts in Boise since 1993, and this role is a chance to run mills and lathes on real tight-tolerance work for aerospace, defense, medical, and semiconductor customers, not commodity parts. Working the swing shift, Monday through Thursday, gives you a three-day weekend every week while still working full-time hours, with a quieter shop and more autonomy on the floor.

You'll be trusted to take a job from print review through setup, machining, and inspection on your own, which is the kind of ownership that keeps this work interesting rather than repetitive.

• Independently set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and job documentation
• Review part requirements and determine appropriate tooling, work holding, and machining methods
• Load tools, set work and tool offsets, and make necessary program adjustments
• Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixturing, and dimensional issues
• Work closely with CNC programmers, quality personnel, and other machinists to resolve issues and improve processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established quality procedures

You'll work on CNC mills and lathes running Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain, and Mitsubishi controls, with parts programmed in Mastercam and GibbsCAM. Enviro Tech's shop also runs 5-axis, horizontal, and vertical machining centers, CNC turning centers, and wire EDM, so there's room to grow into different equipment as you prove out on the floor.

Required:

• 5+ years of professional CNC machining experience
• Strong experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Ability to independently set up jobs with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds and speeds, work holding, and machining processes
• Proficiency with precision measurement equipment and inspection techniques
• Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

Preferred:

• Experience programming or editing programs in Mastercam or GibbsCAM
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi controls
• 5-axis machining experience

Pay: $25.00–$40.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM
