Digital Marketing, Marketing Manager, Marketing Strategy
Ping Plotter, the world’s favorite way to explain why your internet sucks, is searching for a marketing leader to help lead our next phase of growth.
For decades, customers have used Ping Plotter to hold internet service providers accountable when connection issues disrupt their work, businesses, and lives. What started as a powerful tool for individuals has grown into a platform trusted by a large, global user base spanning both consumers and businesses — from home users troubleshooting Wi‑Fi to organizations relying on Ping Plotter Cloud to monitor and understand complex networks.
Our largest and fastest-growing segment includes contact centers and support organizations that rely on Ping Plotter Cloud to diagnose and resolve network issues affecting customer experience.
We’re looking for someone who can rally this passionate audience, introduce new products thoughtfully, and continue evolving how we communicate Ping Plotter’s value in ways that drive real adoption and pipeline. This role involves leading a small team, shaping strategy, and executing campaigns that support both our established desktop offerings and our rapidly growing Cloud product.
If you’re interested in helping people make sense of broken internet connections, advocating for better infrastructure, and building marketing that’s smart, technical, and human — all while having fun with a talented team — you could be exactly who we’re looking for.
Responsibilities- Own and drive marketing’s role in the company growth strategy across product, sales, and customer initiatives, with clear accountability for pipeline quality and conversion
- Own and evolve marketing strategy for the entire Ping Plotter product line
- Lead and manage a small marketing team, including content strategy and design professionals
- Plan and execute advertising, website, and go-to-market initiatives
- Work closely with Sales in the trenches by listening to calls, reviewing wins and losses, and getting direct exposure to customer conversations in order to shape messaging and strategy
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion through a diversified marketing mix
- Apply experience, data, and instinct when allocating resources to new opportunities and existing efforts
- Oversee core marketing channels, including email, search, paid media, website optimization, and lifecycle marketing
- Support go-to-market initiatives for key customer segments, including contact centers and customer support organizations
- Lead tradeshow and event strategy, from research and planning through execution
- Measure performance against pipeline and revenue‑adjacent outcomes, analyze results, and continuously optimize marketing efforts
- This role is best suited for someone who wants to help build and evolve a marketing engine alongside Sales and not simply inherit a fully built one. Bring your entrepreneurial spirit!
- Proven experience owning marketing strategy and driving growth for a SaaS or subscription‑based product
- Demonstrated success influencing pipeline, customer acquisition, retention, and recurring revenue at a strategic level
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams, setting priorities, and managing competing initiatives
- Strong understanding of core marketing channels, including content, SEO, email, paid media, and lifecycle marketing
- Ability to translate technical products and concepts into clear, compelling messaging for both technical and non‑technical audiences across B2B and B2C
- Experience working closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to support company strategy and shared revenue goals
- Comfort using data and analytics to inform strategy, measure performance, and guide decision‑making
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Hub Spot preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for networking, internet performance, and improving customer experience
