Job Summary /Basic Function:
Are you an experienced email marketer and graphic designer passionate about live entertainment? The Morrison Center seeks a detail-oriented, creative Part-Time Marketing & Creative Coordinator to support our email marketing operations and adapt visual assets across our premier show lineup.
This is an exciting, high-visibility role at Idaho's premier performing arts venue. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Sales, you will work directly with major national tours-including prestigious Broadway Across America (BAA) productions, Morrison Center Presents titles, co-promotions, and high-profile concerts-bringing world-class entertainment to life for the Boise community.
Working on-site at the Morrison Center, you will collaborate side-by-side with the Director of Marketing & Sales as our dedicated email marketing specialist and primary graphic artist, taking point on email campaigns from creative concept to final deployment. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position working up to 19 hours per week.
About the Morrison Center Located on the campus of Boise State University, the 2,002-seat Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts is Idaho's home for the arts. Nestled on the banks of the Boise River, with a panoramic view of the city, parks and foothills, the Center's 10-story stage house is a recognizable fixture of the Capitol's picturesque skyline. The realization of a life-long dream of Harry W.
Morrison, and championed by his widow, Velma, the Center opened its doors on April 7, 1984. Today the Center is recognized as a major destination for arts and culture, annually hosting hundreds of live entertainment and arts education offerings that serve to enrich the lives of patrons of all ages. As a Boise State affiliate, the Center's budget is supported by ticket sales, facility rentals, donations and the generous support of the Morrison Center Endowment Foundation, Inc.

Entry-level professional with limited or no prior experience to contribute on a project or work team. Incumbent learns to use professional concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to-day objectives. Works on developmental assignments that are initially routine in nature, requiring limited judgment and decision making. This level is typically focused on self development.
Requires theoretical knowledge through specific education and training. Typically hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- End-to-End Email Marketing Execution (Primary Focus - TM Engage / HIVE) (~50%)
- Responsible for venue email marketing campaigns across all show titles.
- Manage key stages of the email campaign lifecycle, including drafting compelling copy, designing responsive layouts, building templates, and segmenting audience lists.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance of links, pricing, offer codes, and campaign details prior to deployment.
- Execute sends for On-Sales, Broadway Subscriber pushes, and Morrison Center Presents titles.
- Support the development and rollout of new audience segmentation campaigns as our event marketing grows, including Group Sales pushes, 'Welcome to the Morrison Center' and targeted genre lists.
- Support and execute the email marketing portion of the upcoming platform transition from TM Engage to HIVE over the next 30-60 days.
- Asset Adaptation, Resizing & Graphic Production (~30%)
- Serve as the primary point of intake for promoter asset drives, key art, and one-sheets.
- Adapt, reformat, and resize incoming promoter key art for venue-specific digital assets, email templates, and display specs using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva.
- Create original local promotional graphics as needed for venue marketing initiatives.
- Establish visual standards and master templates for downstream team execution.
- Broadway & Tour Promoter Alignment (~10%)
- Maintain brand standards and billing/tagging guidelines for Broadway Across America (BAA) and touring show promoters.
