Volunteer Services Assistant

An assistant for Volunteer Services with a focus on building relationships and supporting volunteer onboarding.

You have an interest in volunteer management, are a people person, enjoy building relationships, and bring a positive, detail-oriented, organized attitude. You thrive on creating community and taking initiative.

• Update volunteer positions on a monthly basis
• Assist in creating volunteer recognition materials
• Help guide volunteers through the orientation process, including scheduling and performing pre‑screening interviews and developing relationships with potential new volunteers
• Learn and organize the new volunteer orientation process
• Facilitate orientation meetings using PowerPoint, either online or in‑person
• Collaborate with the Volunteer Services Team to perform onboarding tasks for new volunteers

• Weekly (Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm)
• 2–4 hour shifts
• Ongoing opportunity, 1–2 times a week depending on your schedule

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Submit application and resume
• Pass a criminal background check
• Complete interviews
• Comply with all Idaho Youth Ranch Volunteer Policies and Procedures
