Lactation Consultant - Mother Baby Boise

St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to join our dynamic Mother Baby Unit in a full-time or part-time position! This position provides lactation support to both inpatient postpartum families and outpatient follow‑up visits, offering a unique opportunity to support families across the full continuum of infant feeding care.

• The Lactation Consultant provides professional leadership and advanced knowledge in the practice of lactation management. Lactation Consultants are responsible for educating new mothers and their families about the breast feeding process.

• Our Mother Baby Unit is a fast‑paced environment where teamwork, communication, and strong clinical skills are essential. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy setting, adapts quickly, and provides exceptional, evidence‑based lactation support to families with diverse needs.

• Bachelors of Nursing

• 2 years of RN experience, maternal-child experience preferred

• Current RN licensure from the State of Practice

• IBCLC Specialty Certification
