Position: Nurse (Cath Lab Observation Unit)
The Nurse (Cath Lab Observation Unit) Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by expertly managing all phases of the nursing process. Leads care coordination focused on education, self-management, and satisfaction, while safely administering treatments and collaborating across disciplines. Demonstrates strong leadership and innovative problem-solving to influence outcomes and guide the management of complex patient care.

Provides specialized patient care and coordination in the COU, supports health promotion and chronic care management, contributes to policy development, shares expertise to enhance nursing practice, and evaluates evidence-based outcomes at the program level.

Duties include but not limited to:

* Provides comprehensive patient care and care coordination within the Cath Lab Observation Unit (COU) specialty setting.

* Delivers health promotion, education, and ongoing coaching focused on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic condition management.

* Demonstrates leadership and advanced clinical judgment in managing complex specialty outpatient care needs.

* Collaborates in developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising specialty care policies, procedures, and guidelines.

* Contributes to improvements in specialty care services through broad, program-level leadership and quality initiatives.

* Offers peers both formal and informal constructive feedback to support performance improvement.

* Shares specialty nursing knowledge to enhance safe, high-quality clinical practice across the team.

* Fosters a safe, supportive work environment that promotes the professional growth of healthcare staff.

* Evaluates outcomes related to evidence-based practice decisions for individuals, groups, and specialty populations.

* Ensures documentation and oversight of broad, complex specialty care program or service-level outcomes across the facility.

Pay:
Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
