Locums - Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center Float Pool CRNA/Anesthesia

Job Details:

6-month contract with 40 hours of scheduled work per week

Primary location in Boise with occasional coverage at nearby Nampa location

Variable shift patterns including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts

Coverage includes 24-hour plus 16-hour shift per week requirement

Call responsibilities include 1 weekend call shift per month and 2 weeknight call shifts per month

Schedule provided 6 weeks at a time with Christmas holiday work required

Supervision-based anesthesia with maximum 4:1 ratio

Patient population includes adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric patients (90%+ over age 12)

Work in 17 main operating rooms, 7 day surgery center rooms, plus specialty areas

EPIC electronic medical record system

Procedures include gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, cranial, plastics, pulmonary, pediatrics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, structural hearts, electrophysiology, endoscopy, and interventional radiology

Must be comfortable with Level II Trauma cases

Perform spinal blocks but not regional anesthesia/blocks, epidurals, or central lines

Board certification and minimum 1 year experience required (6 months considered)

DEA and controlled substance registration required

The facility provides a wide range of surgical and procedural services while maintaining a supervision-based anesthesia model with experienced medical staff support.
