Position Overview
St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a full‑time RN Circulator to join our Surgical Services team. This rare opportunity allows you to train in our Periop 101 program and become an OR Circulator.

This fast‑paced Boise Operating Room invites you to join us in grey scrubs and develop your nursing skills through our full‑time 6‑month periop 101 internship program. You will train with an interdisciplinary OR team that shares a passion for surgery, learning instrument counts, scopes, sterility, intubation, robotics, and more.
We are proud to offer a patient‑advocate role, ensuring safety for patients from newborns to geriatric patients.
Specialty Service Line Teams- General/Pediatric (Trauma) – pediatric trauma center for the state of Idaho
- Robotics/Oscopy – three robots make St. Luke’s one of the largest robotic programs in the Northwest
- Orthopedics – specializing in robotic joint surgery, pediatric orthopedic procedures, sports medicine, and orthopedic trauma
- Neurology – neurosurgery with Brain Lab and Stealth technologies, craniotomies, subdural hematomas, aneurysms, and cervical & lumbar spine fusions
1.0 FTE full‑time, 5 (8) hour shifts Monday‑Friday. After the 6‑month Periop training period, call is required: 30‑minute response time.
ExpectationsSt. Luke’s Health System’s largest operating room and the Treasure Valley’s pediatric trauma center. With 17 operating rooms we serve all specialties except CVOR and L&D, with more than 200 surgeons across four specialty teams.
Our protocols ensure safe surgery for COVID‑positive patients and cover the local population’s surgical needs with an innovative call team for most nights and weekends.
Qualifications- Education:
Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) - Experience:
1+ years RN experience required - Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the state of practice - BLS required – ACLS highly preferred
