Job Overview

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Main Operating Room at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise. The position is located at the Regional Medical Center off I‑184 and Curtis Rd. The OR serves a wide variety of patients, including elective cases and emergent traumas, across multiple specialties such as orthopedic, general, plastics, dental, neurology, urology, gynecology, and robotics.

This is a full‑time day shift position with service on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

• Provide hands‑on patient care and collaborate with surgical team members.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and utilize resources wisely.
• Advocate for patients’ physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being.
• Educate patients regarding their conditions and post‑operative care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.

• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Idaho.
• Multistate license holders must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• At least one year of circulating experience in an operating room setting.
• Desire to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
