Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU

Boise,

Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Level IV NICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1–3 across a 61-bed unit
• Manage and titrate drips including Morphine, Dopamine, and Epinephrine per unit protocols
• Care for high-acuity neonatal patients including premature infants (22 weeks and above), respiratory distress cases, and post-surgical patients (trachs, g-tubes, shunts, hernia repairs)
• Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment including Drager, Servo, HFJV, HFOV, Nava, CPAP, and Nasal Cannula
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including NNPs and neonatologists available in-house 24/7
• Float as needed to Pediatrics, PICU, Nursery, Mother Baby, or lower-acuity NICU settings at affiliated facilities

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience if NICU is the sole nursing background; minimum 1 year of NICU experience if candidate holds additional RN experience in other specialties
• Proficiency in titrating vasoactive and analgesic drips
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on unit need

• Experience caring for feeder/grower patients and complex surgical neonates
• Familiarity with high-frequency ventilation (HFJV, HFOV) and Nava ventilation modalities
• Prior experience floating to Peds, PICU, or Mother Baby units

• Work in a high-acuity Level IV NICU supported by dedicated charge nurses, nurse aides, and in-house neonatology coverage around the clock
• Structured unit orientation provided, including two shifts of department-specific training and a dedicated session with a unit educator
