RN OR Circulator Swing Shift

About the Position

Shift: Evening Shift
Location: Saint Alphonsus Health System, Boise, Idaho

• Provide hands‑on patient care in the Main Operating Room, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and peri‑operative staff.
• Advocate for patients by promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well‑being.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and postoperative care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize resources wisely, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.

• Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse with the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of circulating experience in a fast‑paced operating room environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills.
