Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift – 3 shifts per week from 7:00 AM–7:30 PM. Must be available for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Position SummarySaint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is hiring a CNA/Unit Clerk to support nursing on the Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit. The unit has 18 critical care beds and 17 step‑down beds, caring for postoperative patients and those with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders.
Responsibilities- You will support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination.
- You will perform various nursing care and assisted services under the direction of the licensed nurse to meet patient needs and comfort.
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho OR a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR completion of the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire unless already certified in ACLS/PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
- Six months of patient-care experience in an acute-care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in caring for all age groups (neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
