Position Summary
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant/Nurse Apprentice to join our incredible nursing team.

Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift
DescriptionThis position is in our Clinical Float Pool located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. It requires a “can‑do” attitude, natural problem‑solving abilities, a quick learner, and a love for daily new challenges. You will support almost every area of the hospital, so flexibility and teachability are essential.
ScheduleThree 12‑hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. Must be flexible to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
What You Will Do- You will support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks.
- You will perform various nursing care services and related non‑professional services necessary in caring for patients, under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. These duties align with the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP).
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho, or a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing, or completion of the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
- Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or National Military Training Network required at hire, unless currently certified in ACLS/PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
- Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric).
