RN Medical Oncology

Job Summary

RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, providing hands‑on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You will serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being, educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.

Full time

Three 12‑hour night shifts per week (7:00 pm–7:00 am).

• Provide professional nursing care, ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by legally authorized persons.
• Develop individualized care plans and promote patient education.
• Maintain accurate, complete documentation of nursing services.
• Advocate for patients' physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being.
• Delegate, assess, plan of care, and teach patients and families.

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate RN licenses must establish Idaho residency within 60 days from hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire; ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
