e’s, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses play a critical role in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are currently hiring for a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Registered Nurse at the Children's Pulmonology Clinic located in Boise at The Children’s Pavilion.
- Patient Assessment and Intake: collect vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, O2, respirations) and document patient history, medications, symptoms, and clinical concerns accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform basic clinical tasks: preparing and administering medications, giving injections, or assisting with procedures as directed by the provider.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams: coordinate patient care including insurance prior authorizations, telephone triage, relaying test results, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and treatment instructions to ensure understanding and adherence.
- Maintain infection control protocols, ensure proper documentation, and adhere to clinic policies, regulatory standards, and patient confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).
- Participate in specialty clinics such as trach/vent and muscular dystrophy clinics, supporting patients with complex respiratory needs.
Three 8-hour shifts – Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. No weekends or holidays.

Qualifications- Education:
Nursing Degree. - Experience:
1 year of experience. - Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Understanding of pulmonology and asthma is ideal.
