About the RoleWe are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Hematologic Malignancies team at Boise St. Luke's Cancer Institute. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at a state‑of‑the‑art facility with a warm, family‑feeling atmosphere.
What You Can Expect- Full‑time (0.9 FTE), day shift
- Schedule:
9‑hour shifts, 4 days a week - No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays
- Sign‑on bonus eligible for new hires
- Provide medical guidance and patient education while delivering excellent care as part of an interprofessional team
- Work closely with providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines
- Primary responsibilities include patient education, care coordination, phone triage, and hands‑on involvement in the newly established BMT Infusion Clinic, where stem‑cell transplant and CAR T patients are evaluated and managed
- Collaborate closely with BMT providers, nurse navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates (PFAs), social workers, and other allied disciplines to deliver excellence in patient care
- Education:
Nursing Degree - Experience:
One (1) or more years of RN experience - Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Preferred: OCN certification, BMTCN certification, oncology experience, and/or EPIC experience
