St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient BMT/Medical Oncology
team

Boise BMT/Medical Oncology is a 24-bed unit where you will gain experience caring for patients along every phase of the cancer continuum, from diagnosis and treatment to palliative/symptom management and comfort care. You will care for post-surgical patients, patients receiving chemotherapy and some medical-surgical overflow. Those interested in an ICU-type experience will be able to care for patients who are critically ill and need close monitoring/intervention.
Typical RN to patient ratios on this unit is 1:3. For CNAs, the ratios are typically 1:7-10.

- You will also gain experience working with central lines, monitoring lab results and treating critical electrolyte imbalances and blood cell counts. In addition, the unit offers a biennial oncology conference, biennial stem cell transplant conference, cross-training to a connected outpatient unit, and multiple leadership opportunities to enhance and advance oncology care.

Nursing Degree - Experience:
1+ years of RN experience - Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
