Emergency Department Registered Nurse

The role is a full-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Boise, Idaho, responsible for delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This position supports a trusted healthcare partner and emphasizes patient-centered excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
  • Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a high-acuity setting
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and advanced clinical interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, trauma teams, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Perform rapid patient assessments and document accurate clinical findings
  • Respond effectively to critical situations, including trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient stabilization and treatment
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Idaho
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (required);
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • 2 years of emergency department or critical care experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure or rapidly changing patient situations
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity
