Perioperative 101 Overview

The Wood River Operating Room (OR) team invites you to join us in grey scrubs and develop your nursing skills through our periop 101 course. You will be training with an OR team made up of interdisciplinary professionals that share a passion for surgery. As you delve into our world of bovies, instrument counts, scopes, steris beds, robots, sterility, intubation and so much more, you will find it is truly a privilege to be the patient advocate on their journey through the surgical experience.

Accredited STAR Nurse Residency Training Program

We are proud to have all our new graduate RN's go through our year-long STAR Residency Program that helps support transition from a student nurse to professional nurse. You will have the opportunity to build relationships, develop your clinical and leadership skills, and grow your own community of fellow new graduates that will share the same journey as you.

Required Criteria
  • Nursing Degree
  • RNs with less than 1 year of experience, at the time of hire into the RN position, must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN
    - Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE
    - Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education)
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card
  • $5,000 Relocation bonus
