Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR), responsible for delivering coordinated surgical nursing care, supervising staff, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key Duties:- Assess patient data
- develop and implement care plans
- ensure safety and quality care
- participate in discharge planning
- delegate tasks appropriately
- provide patient education
- Required RN licensure in the practice state
- BLS certification
- preferably a BSN and acute care experience
- Critical thinking
- clinical judgment
- teamwork
- effective communication
- ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Commitment to safety protocols, including vaccinations, and adherence to facility-specific certifications.
- Capable of analyzing assessment data
- making diagnoses
- implementing interventions
